The Boerboel - July 2022

The Boerboel is considered to be the most agile of the Mastiff type dogs. Socialization is necessary for Boerboels, as they can be aggressive toward other dogs, especially those of the same sex and breed.

The history of the South African Boerboel shouldn’t lead to the conclusion that they’re barbaric or snarly brutes. They’re also smart and sensitive, which helps them to differentiate friend from foe. But Boerboels are not known to back down whenever they’re provoked.
